Following their big win over Syracuse, Temple will have to wait to get back on the court.
The Owls were forced to reschedule Friday’s home game against Detroit after the Titans were unable to secure a flight to Philadelphia. Bad weather in the mid-west has grounded most flights.

TEMPLE – DETROIT MEN’S BASKETBALL GAME POSTPONEDGame to be played at a date to be determinedPRINCETON, N.J. – Due to prevailing weather conditions, Friday’s Chevrolet Gotham Classic game between Detroit and Temple at the Liacouras Ceter has been postponed, it was announced by Gazelle Group president Rick Giles. Conditions in the Midwest combined with wind conditions in Philadelphia prevented Detroit from being able to safely travel to Philadelphia for the game. The game will be rescheduled at a later date.Temple (9-2), coming off an upset win over then #3/3 Syracuse last Saturday, will return to action Monday, December 31 when it hosts Bowling Green for a 2:00 p.m. tip-off at The Liacouras Center (OwlAccess/1210 WPHT AM). All fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game for Toys for Tots, and will receive a discounted ticket for as low as $5.00 for doing so.
