The Athletic committee of Temple’s Board of Trustees met today to discuss athletic issues such as the transition to the Big East Conference. During the gathering, Athletics chairmen Lewis Katz announced that Temple will be hosting 2nd and 3rd round NCAA Tournament games at the Wells Fargo Center from March 22nd-24th of 2013.
In 2009, Philadelphia was host to first and second round games at what was then, the Wachovia Center.
The Temple Owls will begin their regular season on Tuesday, November 13th at Kent State. The Owls first home game comes just a few days after that on Saturday, November 17th when they play host to Rice.
