Philahoops: Week In Review July 29-Aug. 4

Here’s a recap of what we did at Philahoops this week:

-We wrapped up last week with Aaron Bracy’s story on Kyle Molock’s season-ending injury.

Plenty of stories this week profiling members of the Philly team for Sunday’s The-BALL showcase game:

-Former Villanova standout Curtis Sumpter told Kevin Rossi that he was at ease with Sunday’s game wrapping up his injury-plagued career.

-Ex-Temple standout Mark Tyndale told Teddy Bailey that he likes Philly’s chances in Sunday’s game.

-Former St. Joe’s G Pat Carroll tells Matt Schultz he’s thrilled to play final pro game on Hawk Hill.

-Former Temple G Dustin Salisbery tells Chase Senior he hopes to get noticed in Sunday’s game.

-Ex-St. Joe’s G Tasheed Carr talks to Cab Washington about how Philly will represent on Sunday.

-Cab Washington also talked to former La Salle great Rodney Green about his appearance in Sunday’s game.

-Joe Fedorowicz wondered what the CAA is going to do with a team shortage.

-Former Villanova star Maalik Wayns signs with the 76ers, and talks about it to Tom Byrne of 97.5 The Fanatic.

-Teddy Bailey writes about Penn grad Zack Rosen’s first pro contract with an Israel club, and Rosen tells Philahoops he won’t play in Sunday’s BALL showcase game.
