Penn Quakers’ Schedule Released

On Tuesday, the Penn Quakers released their 2012-2013 schedule. The season begins with UMBC coming to the Palestra on November 9th. Earlier this month, Penn announced they would be taking part in the 2012 NIT Season Tip-Off. They face Delaware on November 12th, and either play Fairfield or Virginia in their second game. The Quakers will play two more games in the NIT Season Tip-Off even if they fail to advance to the final four at Madison Square Garden.

The Ivy League title race  is now wide open with Brandyn Curry and Kyle Casey involved in the Harvard cheating scandal. The Crimson, along with Princeton, Penn, and Columbia, will all compete for the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Penn’s non-conference schedule is very challenging with trips to Penn State, Butler, Wagner this year. They visit Temple and La Salle, while hosting Drexel, Saint Joseph’s, and Villanova at The Palestra.
