After finishing the 2011-12 season with a 15-1 record at the Daskalaskis Athletic Center, the Drexel Dragons will look to continue their home court dominance in the upcoming season. The opponents for Drexel’s home games for 2012-13 have officially been announced via the team’s athletics website.

Nov. 15 – Illinois State
Dec. 1 – Rider
Dec. 22 – Davidson
Dec. 31 – Saint Joseph’s
Jan. 5, Towson
Jan. 9 – Northeastern
Jan. 26 – Georgia State
Jan. 28 – Delaware
Feb. 7 – Old Dominion
Feb. 9 – James Madison
Feb. 14 – George Mason
Feb. 18 – Hofstra
Mar. 2 – UNCW

In all, Drexel will play 13 regular season home games with four being non-conference and nine being in the CAA. The highlight of the non-conference schedule will be the New Years contest against City Six foe St. Joseph’s. Some CAA games played at the DAC that you should also circle prior to this season look to be the Dragons’ Jan. 28 game with rival Delaware, a Feb. 7 match-up against Old Dominion, and Feb.14 versus the always tough George Mason. The Mar. 2 game against UNCW will be Drexel’s Senior Day when the Dragons will honor Chris Fouch, Daryl McCoy, and Derrick Thomas for their time as Dragons.
